CDF app

The CDF app (Carters Delivery Form) is used to deliver each load to a CBH site and manage the delivery process electronically through the app. It provides growers and transporters with real-time information on each load being delivered and is a key communication tool for CBH to keep everyone up to date with changes during harvest.

FAQs

  • How to submit a CDF

A CDF can be submitted by you, or someone delivering a load on your behalf (i.e. contract transporter).

There are two ways to submit a CDF in the app:

    • If submitting the first load of the day, select CREATE NEW CDF. Fill out the form by selecting from your favourites or by manually entering the information.
    • If the load is the same as the last load delivered (i.e. same deliverer, property, commodity, variety, paddock etc.) select COPY LAST CDF. You can still make changes to the form before submitting it. This option is only enabled after the first load of the day has been delivered and will re-set each day.

Once you have submitted your CDF, site staff will be able to view the load details and start preparing for the estimated time of arrival.

If you have a weak network connection, you can submit the CDF offline and it will send once a connection has been established.

Can I still complete a paper CDF?

There are still paper forms, however it is up to the Area Manager and the individual site as to whether they offer/accept paper forms. The grower/driver will need to contact the site directly to find out if the forms are available.

  • What is the CDF mobile app?

A CDF (Carter’s Delivery Form) is a legal requirement for each harvest load delivered and the CDF app is an electronic version of the form which manages the grain delivery process electronically. The app is available to growers and transport contractors that cart grain on behalf of growers and provides real-time information and notifications to keep track of deliveries and grain quality. Find out more about the CDF app

  • What is the minimum compatible OS version for the CDF app
    Android - 12 (API 31)
    iPhone - iOS - 15.8.2
  • What information from Paddock Planner is available in the CDF app?

If used, the Paddock Planner information including properties, paddocks, commodities and varieties sync to the CDF app for harvest deliveries. This makes it easier when submitted a load for delivery as all the information is pre-filled. Once delivered, the load (including quality) is linked back to the paddock and the My Dashboard reporting tool in LoadNet to give in depth analysis and reporting.

  • Can CDF app be used without Paddock Planner?

The CDF app can be used without Paddock Planner. However, this means that data will not be available in the CDF app and will need to be entered manually for each load delivered. It will also limit the reporting and analysis available in My Dashboard.

  • How do I change my password on the CDF app

To change your password, you’ll need to do it through LoadNet, as it cannot be updated through the CDF app. Once you’ve updated your password in LoadNet, the change will automatically sync with CDF.

Please note, your new LoadNet password must be a 16-character passphrase. This is an industry-standard security measure to better protect your account.

  • How do I add my truck registration to the CDF app
The vehicle must first be registered in LoadNet before it can be added to the CDF app. Growers can register vehicles in LoadNet under the ‘Business Details’ section.
  • How to register a truck driver on my CDF app

If a truck driver has not used the CDF app before they will need to register their mobile phone number on the CBH website before logging into the CDF app.

    Visit https://www.cbh.com.au/apps-and-online-tools/cdf-app

  • What information will my driver require when delivering my grain
The grower must provide the driver with their grower account number (Deliverer ID) and the 4-digit driver PIN associated with the account.
  • Where do I find the pin for my truck driver

PIN numbers are located in a grower's CDF app.

Open the app and go to ‘Menu’ and then click on ‘Connections & PINs’.

If a grower cannot find their PIN, please call the Grower Service Centre on 1800 199 083.

  • What is the difference between a truck driver and employee PIN

A truck driver can view deliveries made only by them for the entire season.

Employees/farmhands can view all deliveries for that grower account but only for 24 hours after the delivery is made.

  • Will my truck driver or employees PIN change each season

Yes, PINs will be refreshed each year, and you will need to advise your truck driver and employees/farmhands of the new PIN.

PIN numbers are located in a grower's CDF app.

Open the app and go to ‘Menu’ and then click on ‘Connections & PINs’.

If a grower cannot find their PIN, please call the Grower Service Centre on 1800 199 083.

  • What is the difference between a PAN and a PIN

A PAN (Personal Access Number) is unique to each grower and is used to log in to LoadNet and CDF. It should remain private and not be shared with others.

The PIN is a 4-digit code found in the grower’s CDF account, with separate PINs for employees and truck drivers. These PINs will only be activated after the grower has logged in to both LoadNet and the CDF app at least once.

  • Why am I not getting emailed weighbridge tickets

Growers with PANs should first update their address in LoadNet to ensure weighbridge tickets are sent to the correct email.

In the CDF app, growers and truck drivers can update their email address by going to Menu > User Settings > User Details.

Additionally, anyone using the CDF app must ensure they have selected the option to receive weighbridge tickets by email in the Notification Centre.

  • How to set notifications for site openings and available stacks
Add the site in the ‘Favourites’ menu on their CDF app. Then ensure notifications are enabled for CDF in the phone settings.
  • Can I still deliver a commodity if I mistakenly select Complete deliveries
Once you select this option, it cannot be undone. However, it won’t impact your ability to deliver the commodity during the harvest period. It’s simply a tool to help track your progress for the season
