We seek to provide growers and marketers with choice and flexibility in how they would like to use the supply chain, as well as the opportunity to access lower cost pathways to port. The CBH supply chain offers three key services.
CBH Integrated
A fully integrated service managed by CBH from receival point to export or domestic market. CBH Integrated is available at all sites in the CBH network ensuring growers can access buyers at every site.
Key features:- Available all year round
- Full access to quality optimisation prior to cut off dates
- Grain movement and freight is co-ordinated by CBH. Grower pays freight, except where the marketer pays freight on the grower’s behalf
- Full weighing, sampling and grading of grain deliveries

CBH Site Select
A service that allows marketers to buy grain at a site level and maintain site entitlement, with the ability to co-ordinate transport and freight. The CBH Site Select service is available at most sites, except for a small number of sites listed below which will be dedicated to supporting CBH’s Integrated service. CBH may choose to allow outturns from these sites by arrangement.

CBH Direct
A series of services that allow for growers and marketers to deliver grain direct to a port during and after harvest, where it is linked to a marketer's vessel nomination. There are three service available with CBH Direct.

This service is for growers to deliver contracted grain direct to port during harvest, where it is linked to a marketer’s Export Nomination.
Key features:- Available during harvest – 16 October to 31 January.
- Grower co-ordinates freight to port with marketer
- Full access to quality optimisation prior to cut off dates or nomination
- All commodities (except lupins and oats) can be delivered to Port or a nominated overflow site at anytime prior to a DTV Target Date
- Loads must be nominated within 21 days prior to the Direct Vessel Target Date
- No minimum accumulation
- Full weighing, sampling and grading of grain deliveries
- Vessels can be topped up with CBH Integrated entitlement

Direct to Vessel – Post Harvest
This service is for growers or marketers* to deliver grain direct to port post-harvest, where it is linked to a marketer’s Export Nomination.
Key features:- Available post-harvest – 1 February to 15 October
- Grower or marketer co-ordinates freight to port
- Grain must be delivered and nominated within 21 days prior to the Direct to Vessel Target Date
- 1,000 tonnes per day
- Full weighing, sampling and grading of grain deliveries. This service is also available without full quality testing, refer to the Port Terminal Services Agreement
- Vessels can be topped up with CBH Integrated entitlement

Direct to Vessel – High Volume
This service is for marketers* to deliver grain direct to port where it is linked to a marketer’s Export Nomination.
Key features:- Available all year round but may be limited at harvest
- Marketer co-ordinates freight to port
- Grain must be delivered within 4-6 days maximum for Kwinana port, and 4-11 days maximum for Geraldton, Albany and Esperance ports from nominated vessel’s Fixed ETA
- Minimum 2,500 tonnes per day over consecutive days with a 10,000 tonnes minimum Export Nomination
- Testing for level 1 and 2 contaminants only.
- Vessels cannot be topped up with CBH Integrated entitlement

Frequently Asked Questions

Can grain be transferred between services?
Grain can be transferred between CBH Integrated and CBH Site Select to meet site outturn requirements by arrangement. Note that transfers from CBH Site Select to CBH Integrated will be at the published freight rates up to 1 February. After this date, freight will be priced on application.

Will quality optimisation still be available?
Under the CBH Integrated and CBH Direct - Harvest Direct to Vessel services, growers will still be able to optimise their wheat deliveries. For deliveries linked to the CBH Direct - Harvest Direct to Vessel service, growers will need to deliver, optimise and nominate their wheat within the 21days of the Direct to Vessel Target Date.
