3/7/2024

CBH Group, in partnership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), will hold a free two-hour briefing aimed at growers interested in understanding the co-operative’s governance or considering becoming a CBH Member Director.

The session will cover a range of topics including the duties and responsibilities of directors, the role and function of the Board, best corporate governance practices, the qualities of effective Member Directors and an overview of the CBH election process and how to growers can participate.

The session will be held in Perth on 5 August 2024, which is two months ahead of when CBH will open the nomination process for candidates interested in CBH Member Director positions.

Following the briefing, attendees are invited to engage with the CBH Board and Executive team at a sundowner to ask questions, share insights, and connect with fellow growers.

Registrations close 29 July 2024, and growers can secure their spot by completing this form here or calling the Grower Service Centre.

CBH encourages growers not to miss this valuable opportunity to enhance their understanding of CBH governance and explore the path to becoming a Member Director.
