Nominations close for 2022 CBH Member Director Elections

Following the closure of nominations today for candidates seeking to nominate outside of the Candidate Assessment Panel (CAP) process for the 2022 CBH Member Director Elections, the Western Australia Electoral Commission (WAEC) has advised that an additional two candidates have nominated, being Jules Alvaro in District 2 and Phillip Blight in District 4.  

Elections will now be held in Districts 2, 3 and 4, with a total of eight candidates seeking election or re-election - six candidates having completed the CAP process and two candidates nominating outside of the CAP process. 

The current Directors whose three-year terms expire at the CBH Group Annual General Meeting on 18 February 2022 are Jeff Seaby (District 2), Kevin Fuchsbichler (District 3) and Helen Woodhams (District 4). Further to a media release on 23 December 2021, Kevin Fuchsbichler has decided not to renominate beyond the expiry of his term. 

In District 2, the nominees are Jeff Seaby (incumbent) from Mukinbudin, Jules Alvaro from Merredin and Chris Antonio from Northam. 

In District 3, the nominees are Tamara Alexander from Narrogin, Dee Ridgway from Beverley and Barry West from Kulin.  

In District 4, the nominees are Helen Woodhams (incumbent) from Kojonup and Phillip Blight from Wagin. 

Ballot packs containing full voting information will be mailed to members residing in Districts 2, 3 and 4, on Tuesday, 11 January 2022. 

Grower members in Districts 2, 3 and 4 will need to have their votes in prior to the close of the poll at 10.00am on Monday, 14 February 2022. 

The results will be announced following the counting of votes on Monday, 14 February 2022.
