Pasting tables from Outlook
Where tables are copied and pasted from Outlook, for example tables on the Road movements page, the following steps should be taken:
- In Content Editor, open a Rich Text component and open the Rich Text Editor.
- In the Design tab paste in the copied table via the Paste from Word, strip font input.
- Select the table and select Strip Css Formatting from the Format Stripper drop-down menu.
- If the top left cell still contains copied styles, select the cell and re-apply Strip Css Formatting.
- Right-click the table to open the Table Wizard window.
- In the Table Properties tab remove the table Width.
- In the Accessibility tab, under Headings, select 1 in the Rows drop-down
- select OK to close the Table Wizard window
- Open the HTML tab and delete any 'unselectable' divs plus the </br> tag after the closing </table> tag.
- Save the table.
