Network Strategy: how we're tracking

The CBH Network Strategy provides a clear plan for the future. By focusing maintenance and capital investment on the core 100 sites that receive over 90% of the annual crop, we can realise cost savings, gain efficiencies and deliver more tonnes to port when it's needed.

How we plan the network

CBH has adopted a rolling 3-year planning cycle to drive effective deployment of capital and shape the network of the future. Our forecast considers factors including grower economics, global grain supply and demand, crop size and crop composition. The plan is refreshed each year to inform decisions on inloading, storage and outloading projects.

A number of sites are currently being evaluated for new permanent storage and throughput enhancements as part of the annual planning cycle. These projects will be included on this map once they receive the required approval and enter execution phase.
